Oh how the stars do shine off the reflection of the juice upon your face, so fine~
This is “Watermelon Party”, honorable grandfather of such jams as “Cutie Cake”, “Whatcha Doin’”, and “Burger Date”!
This is a preview track for my album “Bug Spray”, coming July 20th, 2012! This is only one of many jams, but the only one about watermelons and featuring kazoos.
It’s a song about watermelons, parties, and how much you wanna smooch the cutie next to you with watermelon juice all over their face.

Blip Fest 2012's full schedule posted
The full schedule of performances at this year’s Blip Festival NYC is now up on the website, so you can pick your one-day tickets if you want (or just see who’s playing!) Holy crap, it’s this month!
Two daytime workshops were also announced, with tickets available: Danimal Cannon’s “LSDJ Masterclass” on Saturday, and “Blips and Bleeps: Square Wave Oscillators 101 with Burnkit2600” on Sunday.
Even if you can’t make it, you can enjoy the above mini-documentary about last year’s Blip Festival, by 2 Player Productions.

Byte my Heart
^Here’s the mix.^
Idk, the title was the first thing I thought of. Pretty much all of these songs in this mix are chiptunes, and kinda heart-felt to me.
It includes: Awesomecat, Space Town Savior, Random, Girljoy, Binärpilot, Goto80, Starscream, and Ultrasyd.
The first time you listen to it, it’ll be in the arranged order I put it in. The second time you listen, all the songs will be randomly played, or so the site says.
I decided to do this ‘cause I missed picking & organizing music into sets when I had a radio show. Um, I mostly played Chiptunes, OC remixes, post rock, mathrock, Japanese indie, and electronics, so that’s prob what most of the future mixes I post will be!
I can’t look at this anymore — I keep changing things.
This is pt. 1 of a series on why I like chiptunes (and videogames linked to it that way obviously).
Also, I realize there’s no headphone input on a DMG there… but you and I both can see it as:
- a) It’s a custom one.
- b) It’s a large Mp3 player that looks like one.
- c) It’s a pocket that just ate too many carts and got big…
