So RAW Artist Showcase is having their 2012 artists of the year awards and all of you and everyone you know needs to vote for Slime Girls in the music category. If anything, you should vote for us for the good of chiptune. I mean how great would it be for a chiptune act to win or get nominated, all these artsy people’s minds would be blown. ——- !SLIME GIRLS WRAP UP AND NEWS! ———

So this has been a pretty amazing week!
Things started off sorta rocky with a less than stellar show for the San Jose RAW Artist showcase, plagued with various problems, but we ended up rocking it when all was said and done! 

However, the Sunday show at the DNA Lounge was our best show yet! We got to rock with Crashfaster, DJ Mr Smith, Tracer, Zen Albatross, minusbaby, trash80 and Matthew Joseph Payne! All of whom are fantastically awesome and all around cool bros and lady-bros! Tremendous thanks to everyone that came out to the show! Also big thanks to Dean Putney for doing some awesome quality-babe visuals for us!

This past Tuesday we played another awesome show at Homestead lanes with pretty much exactly the same lineup! Minus Zen and trash80 and Matt Payne. We got to play with the wonderful Cello Densetsu at her first(?) show!

Again, HUGE thanks to everyone in all the bands we got to play with and everyone that came to the show and talked to us! You’re all awesome!

MERCH AND COOL STUFF!

Anyone that came to the shows has already seen some of our newer merchandise that you can see up there, as well as the cool exclusive merch we had at the shows! We’re very excited to have our first run (only 72 for this colorway!) of Slime Girls shirts designed by the lovely Cassandra Freire! (follow her on tumblr at ferretparty.tumblr.com !) along with some amazing stickers she also designed for us.
On the same note, if you were thinking about buying a Vacation Wasteland print you should probably get on that as we’re running sorta low and I doubt Ill be making re-prints of them! But plans are already underway for the next set of cool prints.

Also, as many of you are probably wondering, we’re still looking into bringing back the cassettes. It’s really an issue of finding a good place to get them duplicated and made. If anyone has any suggestions, shoot them our way! I would LOVE to get on that.
