♥ Day 3 - Slime Girl
Slime Girl! Kinda…
I was getting frustrated with making a slime girl, so, Paul told me to maybe try not doing a stereotypical one. I jokingly doodled me with a slime dress & told him I’m a *slime girl* — so it ended up like this. I am the self proclaimed princess of slimes, and I am now one with a slime. Also, Paul helped teach me to animate again ♥.
Gosh slimes are great.
♥ Day 02 - Centaur
Day 2~ I kinda think it’s funny Paul & I both chose green as a main color. Making these w/ Paul is fun!
Monster girl challenge log: Day 2
Paul & I were working on our Centaurs for Day 2 of the monster girl challenge, and this was my initial sketch. I was laughing & telling him i thought it looked like UBOA from Yume Nikki, but Paul hasn’t played it yet.
Paul said, “Show me your centaur!”, so I sent him the file. He laughed, but then was like, “Jesus christ Grace. Are you even trying??”. And I don’t think Paul knew or heard me that it was a joke and just my sketch, and I thought it was funny… so I animated it for him :|

Ok, ummm. It was kind of weird how things played out? I started getting into Paul’s work around the same time LA Game Space was doing its Kick Starter, ‘cause I saw he was doing portraits, and I really liked his style. So, I started browsing his site, and playing some of the games he worked on. I think he started following me on tumblr around when Segazine was wrapping up, ‘cause I submitted to it, & he was one of the curators. But, I wasn’t paying attention to who was following me so I didn’t notice he started following me! haha… But, sometime later, I had an interview with Femicom & I mentioned he was one of my inspirations. Paul apparently read it, and he left me a message saying thanks for mentioning him! And I was super excited when I heard from him. Then, after that we started talking, & he asked if I wanted to collab. We ended up setting a collective together since it’s something we both always wanted to do. We seemed to get along well online! Then, we met at GDC last week, and we got along even better than I imagined! He’s one of my super best friends now!

We met in the trenches of the war of 2666 & then we met again at a Mojang Skrillex concert in 2013, so we decided to keep in touch.

Grace said there’s no white slimes (except Boy and his Blob I guess), so I drew her some Albino ones!
